Mythologies
Living and working in Lower Manhattan I was witness to the events on 9/11, bringing a new urgency to my work. Throughout the days, weeks and months that followed, images of rebirth and transformation, a life force of vibrant colors, energetic and contemplative bodies, ascending birds, began to emerge. At that time, I also explored the shamans of prehistory, trance and magic in the painted caves.
